মদন মোহন গ্রন্থাগারের Android অ্যাপ, ওয়েবসাইট (madanmohanlibrary.org) ও ওয়েব অ্যাপে আপনার একটিই অ্যাকাউন্ট — যেকোনো এক জায়গা থেকে মুছলে সব জায়গা থেকেই মুছে যায়। মুছে ফেলা সঙ্গে সঙ্গে কার্যকর হয়, সব ফোন ও ব্রাউজার থেকে আপনি লগ আউট হয়ে যান, এবং অ্যাকাউন্ট আর ফেরত আনা যায় না।

অ্যাকাউন্ট মোছার তিনটি উপায়

১. অ্যাপ থেকে

মদন মোহন গ্রন্থাগার অ্যাপ খুলে লগ ইন করুন।
উপরে ডান কোণে আপনার ছবিতে (ছবি না থাকলে নামের প্রথম অক্ষরে) চাপ দিয়ে “আরও” পাতা খুলুন।
পাতার একেবারে নিচে, লগআউটের উপরে “অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছে ফেলুন”-এ চাপ দিন।
পাসওয়ার্ড দিয়ে নিশ্চিত করুন (অ্যাকাউন্টে পাসওয়ার্ড না থাকলে DELETE লিখে)।

“অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছে ফেলুন” দেখতে না পেলে Google Play থেকে অ্যাপটি হালনাগাদ করুন, অথবা নিচের ওয়েবসাইটের উপায়টি ব্যবহার করুন।

২. ওয়েবসাইট থেকে

madanmohanlibrary.org/member/profile খুলুন। লগ ইন করা না থাকলে লগ ইন করুন — লগ ইনের পর এই পাতাতেই ফিরে আসবেন।
পাতার নিচে “অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছে ফেলুন” বোতামে চাপ দিন।
নিশ্চিত করার ঘরে টিক দিয়ে পাসওয়ার্ড লিখুন।

৩. ইমেইল করে

লগ ইন করতে না পারলে এই পথ — যেমন নিবন্ধন এখনো অনুমোদনের অপেক্ষায়, পাসওয়ার্ড মনে নেই, অথবা নিবন্ধিত মোবাইল নম্বরটি আর আপনার কাছে নেই। ঠিকানা: [email protected]

আপনার নিবন্ধিত ইমেইল ঠিকানা থেকে লিখুন, বিষয়: “অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছে ফেলুন”।
ইমেইলে আপনার নাম ও নিবন্ধিত মোবাইল নম্বর লিখুন (জানা থাকলে সদস্য আইডিও)।
নিবন্ধনে ইমেইল না দিয়ে থাকলে যেকোনো ঠিকানা থেকে লিখুন — মোছার আগে আপনার নিবন্ধিত মোবাইল নম্বরে যোগাযোগ করে যাচাই করা হবে।
অনুরোধ পাওয়ার ৭ দিনের মধ্যে অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছে ইমেইলে জানিয়ে দেওয়া হবে।

যা মুছে যায়

অ্যাকাউন্ট মোছার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে আমাদের সার্ভার ও ফাইল সংরক্ষণাগার থেকে স্থায়ীভাবে মুছে যায়:

আপনার অ্যাকাউন্ট ও প্রোফাইল — নাম, মোবাইল নম্বর, ইমেইল, জন্ম তারিখ, লিঙ্গ, পেশা, ভোটার আইডি / জন্মনিবন্ধন নম্বর, পাসওয়ার্ড, সদস্য আইডি, রেফারেল কোড, পদবী ও ভূমিকা।
প্রোফাইল ছবি, পরিচয়পত্রের ছবি ও অতিরিক্ত ডকুমেন্ট — ফাইল সংরক্ষণাগার (Cloudflare R2) থেকেও।
রক্তদাতা নিবন্ধন — রক্তের গ্রুপ, ফোন নম্বর, ঠিকানা, বয়স, ওজন, স্বাস্থ্যসংক্রান্ত তথ্য ও শেষ রক্তদানের তারিখ।
গ্রন্থাগার কক্ষে আপনার চেক-ইন ও চেক-আউটের ইতিহাস, সঙ্গে রেকর্ড করা দূরত্ব।
পয়েন্টের হিসাব, ইভেন্টে নিবন্ধন ও উপস্থিতি, ফেরত দেওয়া বইয়ের ধারের রেকর্ড এবং আপনার চাঁদার নির্ধারণ।

যা থেকে যায়, কেন, এবং কতদিন

নিচের তথ্য গ্রন্থাগারের রেকর্ডের অংশ, তাই অ্যাকাউন্টের সঙ্গে মুছে যায় না। যেখানে “বেনামে” লেখা, সেখানে রেকর্ডটি থাকে কিন্তু আপনার অ্যাকাউন্টের সঙ্গে আর যুক্ত থাকে না।

রক্তদানের ইতিহাস: কোন রক্তের অনুরোধে সাড়া দিয়েছেন বা রক্ত দিয়েছেন, তা বেনামে থেকে যায় — যাতে গ্রন্থাগারের রক্তদানের হিসাব ঠিক থাকে। সময়সীমা: স্থায়ী, বেনামে।
আপনার পোস্ট করা রক্তের অনুরোধ: রোগীর নাম, হাসপাতাল, রক্তের গ্রুপ ও যোগাযোগের নম্বরসহ অনুরোধটি রক্তদানের রেকর্ডে থেকে যায়, আপনার অ্যাকাউন্টের সঙ্গে যুক্ত না থেকে। সময়সীমা: স্থায়ী। অনুরোধটিও মুছতে চাইলে ইমেইল করুন।
জমা-খরচের হিসাব: আপনার দেওয়া চাঁদা ও অনুদানের এন্ট্রি গ্রন্থাগারের আর্থিক রেকর্ড, এগুলো মোছা হয় না — অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছলে শুধু আপনার সঙ্গে যোগসূত্রটি মুছে যায়। কোষাধ্যক্ষ কোনো এন্ট্রির নোটে বা ধার-দেনার পক্ষ হিসেবে যে নাম লিখেছেন, তা সেই রেকর্ডে থেকে যায়। সময়সীমা: স্থায়ী।
দান করা বই: আপনি বই দান করে থাকলে বইদাতা হিসেবে আপনার নাম সেই বইয়ের তথ্যে থেকে যায় — কৃতজ্ঞতার স্বীকৃতি হিসেবে। সময়সীমা: বইটি সংগ্রহে থাকা পর্যন্ত।
ফেরত না দেওয়া বই: অ্যাকাউন্ট মোছার সময় গ্রন্থাগারের কোনো বই আপনার কাছে থাকলে সেই ধারের রেকর্ড আপনার নাম ও মোবাইল নম্বরসহ থেকে যায়, যাতে বইটি ফেরত পাওয়া যায়। এটি শুধু প্রশাসকরা দেখতে পান। সময়সীমা: বই ফেরত দেওয়া পর্যন্ত — ফেরত দেওয়ার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে নাম ও নম্বর মুছে যায়।
অন্যদের জন্য করা কাজ: আপনার তৈরি ইভেন্ট ও বিজ্ঞপ্তি, কক্ষ খোলা, অন্যদের চেক-ইন করানো, অন্য সদস্যদের বই ধার দেওয়া, সদস্য অনুমোদন বা হিসাব লেখার রেকর্ড বেনামে থেকে যায়। কোনো ইভেন্টে প্রশিক্ষক হিসেবে আপনার নাম লেখা থাকলে তা থেকে যায়। সময়সীমা: স্থায়ী।
আপনার পাঠানো রিপোর্ট: কোনো কনটেন্ট বা সদস্যকে রিপোর্ট করে থাকলে রিপোর্টটি প্রশাসকদের কাছে আপনার নাম ছাড়া থেকে যায়।
অন্যদের নোটিফিকেশন: আপনার পাঠানো চ্যাট বা ফোরাম বার্তার খবর অন্য সদস্যদের অ্যাপ-নোটিফিকেশনে আপনার নাম ও বার্তার প্রথম ১৪০ অক্ষরসহ থাকে। সময়সীমা: সর্বোচ্চ ৬০ দিন, তারপর স্বয়ংক্রিয়ভাবে মুছে যায়।
Discord-এ যা আছে: চ্যাট ও ফোরামের বার্তা (সংযুক্ত ফাইলসহ) Discord-এ থাকে, আমাদের সার্ভারে নয় — অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছলে সেগুলো মোছে না, যে নামে পাঠানো হয়েছিল সে নামেই থাকে। মুছতে চাইলে অ্যাকাউন্ট মোছার আগে অ্যাপ থেকে পাঠানো চ্যাট বার্তা অ্যাপেই চেপে ধরে মুছুন, আর Discord-এ সরাসরি লেখা বার্তা Discord থেকে মুছুন — অথবা আমাদের ইমেইল করুন। আপনার নিজের Discord অ্যাকাউন্ট ও গ্রন্থাগারের Discord সার্ভারে আপনার সদস্যপদে হাত দেওয়া হয় না। গ্রন্থাগারের বটের আগের পোস্টও (নিবন্ধন ও অনুমোদনের খবর, জন্মদিনের শুভেচ্ছা, কক্ষে উপস্থিতি, মাসিক তালিকা, রক্তের অনুরোধ) Discord-এ থেকে যায়। অ্যাকাউন্ট মোছার পর প্রশাসকদের জানাতে শুধু আপনার নাম ও সদস্য আইডিসহ একটি নোটিশ গ্রন্থাগারের Discord সার্ভারে পোস্ট হয় — ফোন নম্বর বা ইমেইল ছাড়া।
SMS-এর খাতা: আমরা আপনার নম্বরে যেসব SMS পাঠিয়েছি (নিবন্ধনের খবর, পাসওয়ার্ড রিসেটের কোড, স্মরণ-বার্তা, বিজ্ঞপ্তি), তার নম্বর ও লেখা SMS পাঠানোর খাতায় থেকে যায়, খরচ ও পৌঁছানোর হিসাবের জন্য। সময়সীমা: স্বয়ংক্রিয়ভাবে মোছা হয় না।
ব্যাকআপ: ডাটাবেসের রাতের ব্যাকআপে আপনার তথ্য কিছু সময় থেকে যায়: সার্ভারের কপি প্রায় ৭ দিন পর মুছে যায়; Cloudflare R2-এর একমাত্র কপিটি প্রতি রাতে নতুন কপিতে বদলে যায়; প্রশাসকদের ব্যবহারের একটি Discord ব্যাকআপ চ্যানেলে রাখা দৈনিক আর্কাইভ কপি স্বয়ংক্রিয়ভাবে মোছা হয় না। ব্যাকআপ শুধু সার্ভার বিপর্যয়ের পর সেবা ফিরিয়ে আনতে ব্যবহার হয়।
সার্ভারের লগ: ওয়েব সার্ভারের অ্যাক্সেস লগে IP ঠিকানা ও ব্রাউজারের তথ্য ১৪ দিন থাকে। অ্যাপ্লিকেশনের ত্রুটির লগে (error log) কখনো কখনো আপনার ইমেইল, ফোন নম্বর বা অ্যাকাউন্টের আইডি থেকে যায়; এই লগও ১৪ দিন পর মুছে যায়। ত্রুটির খবর প্রশাসকদের একটি Discord চ্যানেলেও যায়, যাতে এমন তথ্য থাকতে পারে এবং যা স্বয়ংক্রিয়ভাবে মোছা হয় না।

এগুলোও মুছতে চাইলে

উপরে “যা থেকে যায়” তালিকার কোনো তথ্য মুছতে চাইলে ইমেইল করুন। আর্থিক হিসাব বা আইনগত কারণে রাখা জরুরি না হলে ৭ দিনের মধ্যে তা মুছে দেওয়া হবে।

ফোনে থাকা তথ্য

অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছলে অ্যাপ লগ আউট হয়ে যায়। অফলাইনে দেখানোর জন্য অ্যাপ ফোনে যে কপি রাখে, তা পুরোপুরি সরাতে অ্যাপটি আনইনস্টল করুন।

You have one account across the Madan Mohan Library Android app, the website (madanmohanlibrary.org) and the web app — deleting it in one place deletes it everywhere. Deletion takes effect immediately, signs you out on every phone and browser, and cannot be undone.

Three ways to delete your account

1. In the app

Open the মদন মোহন গ্রন্থাগার (Madan Mohan Library) app and log in.
Tap your photo (or your initial, if you have no photo) at the top right to open “আরও” (More).
At the very bottom, above Log out (লগআউট), tap “অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছে ফেলুন” (Delete account).
Confirm with your password (or by typing DELETE if your account has no password).

If you do not see “অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছে ফেলুন”, update the app from Google Play, or use the website below.

2. On the website

Open madanmohanlibrary.org/member/profile. If you are not logged in, log in — you come back to this page afterwards.
At the bottom of the page, press “অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছে ফেলুন” (Delete account).
Tick the confirmation box and enter your password.

3. By email

Use this if you cannot log in — for example, your registration is still awaiting approval, you have forgotten your password, or you no longer have your registered mobile number. Address: [email protected]

Write from your registered email address, with the subject “Delete my account”.
Include your name and registered mobile number (and your member ID if you know it).
If you registered without an email address, write from any address — we will verify the request by contacting your registered mobile number before deleting anything.
We delete the account within 7 days of receiving the request and confirm by email.

What is deleted

As soon as the account is deleted, the following is permanently removed from our server and file storage:

Your account and profile — name, mobile number, email, date of birth, gender, occupation, national ID / birth registration number, password, member ID, referral code, designation and roles.
Your profile photo, ID-card image and any extra document — from our file storage (Cloudflare R2) as well.
Your blood donor registration — blood group, phone numbers, address, age, weight, health information and last donation date.
Your Library Room check-in and check-out history, with the distances recorded.
Your points, event registrations and attendance, records of books you borrowed and returned, and your membership fee (চাঁদা) schedule.
Your in-app notifications, announcement read status, push notification tokens and browser push subscriptions.
The links to your Discord and Google accounts, and the link between your account and the chat messages you sent from the app.
Every sign-in — app tokens, website sessions, login links and password reset codes.
Your list of blocked members.

What is kept, why, and for how long

The following is part of the library’s records and is not deleted with the account. Where it says “anonymised”, the record stays but is no longer linked to your account.

Blood donation history: Which blood requests you responded to or donated for stays, anonymised, so the library’s donation records remain correct. Retention: indefinitely, anonymised.
Blood requests you posted: The request — patient name, hospital, blood group and contact number — stays in the blood donation records, no longer linked to your account. Retention: indefinitely. Email us if you want the request removed too.
Treasury records: Membership fees and donations you paid are the library’s financial records and are not deleted; deleting your account only removes the link to you. A name a treasurer wrote in an entry’s note, or as the party to a loan, stays in that record. Retention: indefinitely.
Donated books: If you donated books, your name stays on those books as their donor, as an acknowledgement. Retention: as long as the book is in the collection.
Books not yet returned: If you still have a library book when you delete your account, that loan record stays with your name and mobile number so the book can be recovered. Only administrators can see it. Retention: until the book is returned — the name and number are removed the moment it is.
Work you did for others: Events and announcements you created, rooms you opened, check-ins you recorded for others, books you lent to other members, members you approved and treasury entries you recorded stay, anonymised. If your name was written as an event’s instructor, it stays. Retention: indefinitely.
Reports you made: If you reported content or a member, the report stays with the administrators without your name.
Other members’ notifications: Notifications other members received about your chat or forum messages keep your name and up to the first 140 characters of the message. Retention: at most 60 days, after which they are deleted automatically.
What is on Discord: Chat and forum messages (with their attachments) live on Discord, not on our server. Deleting your account does not delete them; they stay under the name they were posted with. To remove them, before deleting your account delete the chat messages you sent from the app by long-pressing them in the app, and delete anything you typed in Discord from Discord itself — or email us. Your own Discord account and your membership of the library’s Discord server are not touched. Earlier posts by the library’s bot (registration and approval notices, birthday wishes, room attendance, monthly lists, blood requests) also stay on Discord. After the account is deleted, a notice with only your name and member ID — no phone number or email — is posted to the library’s Discord server to let the administrators know.
SMS log: The number and text of the SMS messages we sent you (registration updates, password reset codes, reminders, announcements) stay in the SMS log for cost and delivery accounting. Retention: not deleted automatically.
Backups: Your data remains in the nightly database backups for a while: the copies on our server are deleted after about 7 days; the single copy on Cloudflare R2 is replaced every night; the daily archive copies kept in a Discord backup channel used by the administrators are not deleted automatically. Backups are used only to restore the service after a server failure.
Server logs: Web server access logs keep IP addresses and browser details for 14 days. The application’s error logs sometimes contain your email, phone number or account ID; they too are deleted after 14 days. Error reports are also sent to an administrators’ Discord channel, where such details can appear and are not deleted automatically.

To have these deleted too

Email us to have anything in the “kept” list above deleted. Unless it must be kept for financial or legal reasons, it will be deleted within 7 days.

Data on your phone

Deleting the account signs the app out. To remove the copy the app keeps on your phone for offline use completely, uninstall the app.
